We Don't Do Sales... Here's The Exception:

We make a lot of noise about the fact that we don’t do sales. We feel like if we could be charging less, we should be charging less. We also don’t ever want you looking at some awesome piece of 1876 gear and think to yourself “I wonder if this will go on sale next week?” That seems like a gimmick, and we don’t like gimmicks.

That being said, there are two times each year when we like to celebrate with all of you. Once, on Colorado’s birthday - because if there’s any day that should mean getting your hands on awesome local gear easier, it’s that one. The next is the weekend that we kick off the holiday season right after Thanksgiving. These two *very* special sales are our way of saying thanks to all our old friends, and a way to maybe meet some new ones.

Mystery Bags Return!

You know that one story you have? Or that one joke you tell? The one that everyone always wants you to tell again? It’s rare to have one of those, but that’s what makes it soooooo cool. For us, our “one thing” is the Cyber Monday Mystery Bags. We thought it would be fun eight years ago to do a little special “surprise grab bag” around the holidays… but, we were not ready for the response. Now, the Mystery Bags are our “tell it again” story. We even get emails in the middle of summer asking if they’re coming back. Well, good news! They are. On Cyber Monday, we’ll be firing up our own little Santa’s bags once again.

So how exactly does it work? Well, you load a $20 Mystery Bag into your online shopping cart on Cyber Monday (in your preferred size), and then you wait excitedly for it to deliver to you so you can find out what’s inside. And $20 gets you… well… who knows?! It could be a pair of our amazing new Summit Sunglasses. It could be the absolutely-all-time-best-seller Crush v2. It could be two or three of our classic beer tees. It could be a classic 1876 piece, long since discontinued but still as brand new crisp and fresh as the day we made it. Then there’s one we pick every year to just go nuts filling up. We happily send off 7 or 8 awesome pieces of 1876 gear to one lucky Mystery Bagger (egg nog may or may not play a role in this…). The one thing you DO know is that it's sure to be worth a lot more than $20.

Because of how ridiculous these bags can get, we have a STRICT limit of 10 per customer… our system won’t stop you from ordering more than that, but we’ll just wind up refunding you for the extras if you do, so just stick to the rules okay? Okay.
