You Can Now Find 1876 Apparel at a Borgata, a Colorado Boutique in Conifer - Just in Time for Holiday Shopping

With October waning, the holiday season is just around the corner. For many, this is the moment that we start panicking that we haven't started our Christmas shopping yet. Well... we've got good news. Now, you've got one more brick-and-mortar location where you can snag all of the 1876 gifts that your family and friends will love to unwrap on Christmas morning.

We are so excited to tell you that you can now find 1876 Apparel at a Borgata in Conifer, Colorado. Meaning “a village” in Italian, a Borgata is a community of local artisans with 99% of its specialty foods, photography, jewelry, clothing, and other gifts coming directly from Colorado makers. A Borgata is truly representative of our ever-expanding and incredibly talented Colorado-handmade community, and we're exceptionally lucky to be a part of it.

Like many of our other retail locations, a Borgata  is the perfect shop to find that gift for the impossible-to-shop-for family member or friend this holiday season, and now, there’s one more place where you can feel the 1876 quality for yourself. So come see our designs, and hold up sizes in person before you buy.

A Borgata is the newest of 8 retail locations and 3 brewery locations where you can shop for 1876 Apparel, the crown jewel of which is our award-winning 1876 | BASECAMP inside Willow: An Artisan’s Market in Historic Downtown Littleton.

Make sure you visit our site and find your nearest location. If you can’t make it to a store - never fear. You can order all of our 1876 and 1876 Lodgepole gear online , and shipping is always just $5, or FREE for orders over $100. Plus, you have plenty of time left to order your gifts to be delivered in time for Christmas.

2019: A Year of Major 1876 Apparel Expansion

2019 has been an amazing year so far for us here at 1876 - from launching our community partnership program, Explorers, with seven-piece Colorado funk-rock band Float Like a Buffalo, to launching a brand new luxury apparel line, Lodgepole, to more than QUADRUPLING our brick-and-mortar store availability across the state. We've been growing at an incredible pace, and we can't wait for more - but our goal is not only to be a bigger, better company that produces some of the highest quality, most luxury goods on the Colorado market, but to also grow as a part of our Colorado community and give back to its other members.

For us, “good enough” is never good enough, and so we’re always looking to improve, expand, and bring more “awesome” to more people. That means more stores in more towns and communities. There's a crucial value we hold dear: do more. That means bringing 1876 to all parts of Colorado, helping out in the community, and going the extra mile on all our products’ details. It's the little things that truly make the biggest difference.

Our Home: 1876 | BASECAMP at Willow Artisans Market

We wouldn't be where we are today without  Willow: An Artisan's Market in Historic Downtown Littleton. Willow has all kinds of Colorado-handmade goods and all of the small-town charm that comes with a business on Main Street, Colorado.

Willow gave us our very first 1876-branded space - affectionately deemed 1876 | Basecamp - more than 5 years ago. Since then, we've brought our local Colorado apparel to 3 breweries and 8 stores.

The Origins of 1876 Lodgepole More than three years ago, we were looking around at all the great gear that we make (and probably enjoying a whiskey or two), when someone mentioned how it was a shame they couldn’t wear any of our tees, hoodies, caps and such to work the next day. Then someone else mentioned that it was also too bad they couldn’t wear it on a date they had coming up. Quickly, the conversation became about where we might find some awesome local gear that was, in a word, “elevated” clothing with high style and superior quality - clothing that said something. We looked around the local market, and found almost nothing around to fill that need.

There's Nothing Like Fall in Colorado It’s no secret, we love the fall in Colorado. The sunny days without the scorching heat, the cool, crisp nights… you can almost smell the snow coming when you’re up checking out the fiery aspen leaves in the high country. For much of the rest of the country, fall is beautiful, but the autumn season is also the harbinger of a nasty time of year ahead. In the State of Exploration, all four seasons are perfect, and we can get all of them all 12 months of the year.

A Different Kind of Colorado Mug There are coffee mugs, beer mugs, Moscow Mule mugs, camping mugs, ceramic mugs, tin mugs, travel mugs... the list goes on. People drink espresso out of mugs; They serve soup in mugs; Some people even pot plants in mugs; So a mug is a mug, right? We at 1876 Apparel say no.
