1876 halloween picks: what to do in colorado for halloween 2019

Welcome to 1876 Picks: Halloween 2019 Edition!

Halloween is on Thursday this year, but there are spooky and fun activities all week long to really get you in the spirit. Though we're getting heavy, Colorado snow today and tomorrow, we know that our fellow Coloradans won't stay in for too long after the weather clears. However, most of our picks are indoors, so we can all avoid the extremely cold temperatures. What are you all doing this week? We'd love to hear in the comments!

Here are our 1876 Official Halloween Picks for October 29th, 2019 to November 2nd, 2019:

1) Spookadelia at Spectra Art Space from 10/29-11/3

Ready to enter the psychedelic realm that takes you on a spooky journey through the ins and outs of the human psyche? Join Spectra Art Space and Synesthesia Denver on Denver's iconic South Broadway for Spookadelia: A Spooky Immersive, which provides a fresh take on the haunted experience, confronting visitors with scary thoughts from otherworldly realms to purgatory to social and environmental issues. Spookedelia is entirely immersive, interactive, and family-friendly.

2) Halloween Film Screening at The Ramble Hotel on Oct. 31 from 7:00-9:30

If you haven’t been to this RiNo gem yet, take this as your opportunity. This incredibly beautiful, French-Salon-inspired hotel will take you back to the glamour of the 17th century, with all of the modern and refined sophistications of today. You’ll also find the Denver installment of the world-famous cocktail institution Death & Co and restaurant Super Mega Bien, featuring lauded James Beard nominated chef, Dana Rodriguez. Tickets to the movie screening are just $5.

3) HOWL-o-ween at Denver Beer Company on October. 31 from 5-8 p.m

Colorado beer and doggies on parade in Halloween costumes? We think yes. Dress up you and your furry friend to enter the costume contest, then get to work on some great local brews and bites to get you in the mood for your Halloween night festivities!
